Speech Pathology Services

Assessments

I provide:

  • assessment of communication in speech, language comprehension and expression, reading, swallowing and stuttering.

  • reports on these assessments to support NDIS funding applications, schools and developmental paediatric assessments.

Assessments

  • target a child’s difficulties and creating goals that are within a young person's reach.

  • are a team effort,

  • help teachers, relatives and friends understand a young person's challenges.

  • ensure the right supports are in place to help a child reach their potential.

I work with the child/teen, their family, caregivers and educators, where appropriate, to ensure these goals are clear, meaningful and achievable.

Therapy

I offer 30-minute and 45-minute weekly therapy sessions addressing speech, language and literacy. For late talkers, I work directly with parents. I can also provide small-group literacy sessions.

Families who opt for therapy receive therapy plans based on assessments. This ensures my work is holistic, targeted and effective.

What is Speech Pathology?
