Speech Pathology Services
Assessments
I provide:
-
assessment of communication in speech, language comprehension and expression, reading, swallowing and stuttering.
-
reports on these assessments to support NDIS funding applications, schools and developmental paediatric assessments.

Assessments
-
target a child’s difficulties and creating goals that are within a young person's reach.
-
are a team effort,
-
help teachers, relatives and friends understand a young person's challenges.
-
ensure the right supports are in place to help a child reach their potential.
I work with the child/teen, their family, caregivers and educators, where appropriate, to ensure these goals are clear, meaningful and achievable.

Therapy
I offer 30-minute and 45-minute weekly therapy sessions addressing speech, language and literacy. For late talkers, I work directly with parents. I can also provide small-group literacy sessions.

Families who opt for therapy receive therapy plans based on assessments. This ensures my work is holistic, targeted and effective.
What is Speech Pathology?
Speech pathologists identify the exact nature of a child's speech, swallowing, language or reading challenges and are skilled at applying therapy to address the difficulty.
